Our Salon's Participation: Embracing Change
At Midwest Beauty House, we take our role in the Green Circle Initiative seriously. We launched our program in July of 2023, with Thomas and Brooke at the helm of the project and have wholeheartedly dove into the project. We immediately reached certification requirements in the first 30 days of our launch, and since that date have striven to only improve day after day. In just a few short months, we have saved over 117.5 pounds of beauty waste from entering landfills and recovered 210 pounds of hair color, just to share a few small quantifiable measures of success.

How Clients Can Get Involved: Join the Movement
Continue supporting Midwest Beauty House or other Green Circle certified salons in your area. We instill a $3 eco-fee on all services to offset the cost of the program and to provide funding to community-based initiatives.
Research within your community for other sustainable and eco-conscious small businesses you can support. Buying local can have the biggest bottom up effect in our environment.
Choose products that reduce waste, using either glass or refillable containers and substituting tablet cleaners and paper barely-packaged products when possible.
