Meet SOLIDU - beauty bars made from only the necessary elements: skin-loving active ingredients, botanical oils, extracts, and natural essential oils. Microplastics, silicones or other ingredients that don’t readily biodegrade are left out!
Read MoreWelp, I’ve got more news on the health front. I fractured my big toe on my right foot last week. My whole right foot is kinda messed up. I didn’t need surgery right away, but it is bad enough that it may be a possibility as we monitor how it heals. That is why I absolutely cannot cut hair for at least the next month, which is a total bummer because I have been feeling better with my other health issues. I was really hoping to rock a full month of pre-holiday hair, since I was unable to do much in September and October.

Read MoreHi MBH Fam, I am currently writing to you from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I am staying at a cabin for a few days outside of Maquette. I had a rough month, personally, in September and ended it with a bang because I contracted Covid and have been out for a couple weeks.
Read MoreA hairbrush can smooth strands and detangle hair. It can also get dirty pretty quickly by soaking up the oil, dirt, dust, and products in your hair.
When you use an unclean hairbrush or comb, all that dirt, oil, and gunk can get back into your hair. If you want your hairbrush to do its job well without adding unwanted residue, it’s important to give it a good cleaning.
Read MoreIt’s been almost two months since I returned to Madison. I can’t believe it. Life continues to move so quickly and yet so slowly in these Covid times. I’ve gotten to update some of you in my chair about my adventures, but I will start where I left off in my last post on the road…
Read MoreLet me start this by saying, you could not pay me enough to be a teenager nowadays. The extra stress of social media would have sent me over the edge at an already hard time. Read MoreHow to begin this letter feels impossible. I decided that instead of speaking to all of you about Robyn that I would write to her directly, as my way to share the news that she is embarking on a new adventure and starting her own business. I will always support any member of my team that decides it’s time to leave the MBH nest. Although I am sad that Robyn and I are ending a chapter together, I am excited for her future career and will tell anyone who listens what a talented and amazing hairdresser she is. Robyn’s new business name is Miss Robyn’s Broken Mirror. Her phone number is (608) 358-6965. She will be honoring appointments that were on her books at MBH and will be contacting all of her clients as well. Please let us know if there is anything the staff at MBH can do to help assist you in this transition.
