A color consultation appointment is required for all new color clients and for clients looking for a big color change. We will chat about options and come up with an approach to your color that is best for you based on the condition and texture of your hair, desired maintenance, and overall esthetic.
We will perform a patch test if requested for clients with sensitivities and may also do a test strand to test the hair’s condition depending on what has been done to the hair previously.
At the time of the consult, we will set up a future appointment to receive your color service. You will be quoted an estimated price at the time of the consultation. Prices vary depending on application process and amount of color used. There is no charge for the consultation appointment.

The Steam Treatment is just as it sounds, we use warm, moist heat (steam) to open up the hair’s cuticle, allowing for conditioning treatments to penetrate deeper into your scalp and strands. As a result, hydrating and moisturizing ingredients are absorbed more fully. Exposure to natural elements can lead to dry and brittle hair, leading to hair breakage. Think of this treatment as a greenhouse for your hair–the steam will create a hydrating environment that is optimal for the absorption of moisture, improved elasticity and scalp health!

The Wash ‘n Go is a standalone hair service. It can easily be added to another hair service (cut, color, or as a styling service) to allow for the best hair preparation for styling and longevity of style. We’d like you to think of this service as a “blow dry style” for textured hair (coils, curls, waves) WITHOUT the blow dry. This service includes a cleanse, conditioning, minimal product application and minimal curl manipulation/styling.
Please note: Hair will NOT be fully dried during a Wash ‘n Go service.
One and a half hour - two hour appointment, however, duration for this service is individualized and will be determined during consultation appointment with your Beauty Operator).

We took the Wash n’ Go to the next level and tailored this service to include a deep cleanse (multi-washes/scalp treatments), deep conditioning + steam treatment and detangling service. It’s easy to get extra build up on the hair and scalp from the environment and/or product(s) and let’s face it…the “wash day” can be overwhelming. We want to support you in having the healthiest scalp and hair possible! This service includes a deep cleanse, deep condition + steam treatment, product application and minimal curl manipulation/styling.
*Add-on our Detangling service as well if you’re in need of more care and detangling of your hair strands.

STYLE SERVICES
Special event coming up? We love ALL the styling at MBH! Please keep in mind that we have extended styling options available with haircut services. All single styling options are available for special events, photo shoots, or weddings. We do provide on location styling services. The Two Strand Twist is the perfect finishing touch for a haircut and/or color service. Please note this is an add-on service. Your hair must be cleansed and conditioned prior to the start of this service. The Two Strand Twist can be done on damp or blown out strands. This service should be booked with one of our standalone services: Wash ‘n Go, haircut, or a hair color service. This is a great protective style that you can wear for a few days and shake out as you see fit once it’s set.
Please note: This service does not include a blow-dry/heat setting. If you’d like a heat setting for this style, please book “The Shake Out” as an add-on service to your appointment.

Finger Coils are a great protective style and allow you to gain enhanced definition from your curls! Hair must be cleansed, conditioned and combed out prior to the start of this service, so it’s a great add-on service for the Wash ‘n Go, haircut or hair color service. Your Beauty Operator will apply product to freshly cleansed hair, wrapping individual sections to create finger wrapped coils. Keep the finger coils in or after a day or two, switch things up and separate the finger coils apart for a more voluminous effect, all while still keeping soft definition throughout your strands.
Please note: This service does not include a blow-dry/heat setting. If you’d like a heat setting for this style, please book “The Shake Out” as an add-on service to your appointment.

Be excited about what The Shake Out Add-on has in store for your hair’s shape, softness, texture and volume! This service involves fully drying the hair in its protective style state, then your Beauty Operator will separate individual sections of the protective style to create shape and volume, as well as keeping the soft definition to the curl pattern.

The lash lift takes the natural eyelashes and perms them with a J-curl or a C-curl (more dramatic) that makes the eyelashes look amazing! A lash lift at MBH is a three step process that first perms the eyelashes, next neutralizes the eyelashes, then finally conditions the eyelashes. The lash lift will last for 6-8 weeks and makes it so you do not need to use an eyelash curler.
NOTE: A lash tint can be done during a lash lift.

A lash tint is a semi-permanent dye application for your lashes. Tinting your lashes creates the illusion of mascara, without actually applying mascara! Awesome, right?
